Seeking Migraine Subjects for a Clinical Study
If you or someone you know is 18 years or older and has been living with moderate to severe migraine attacks for at least 1 year, consider a clinical research study.
Local researchers at PharmQuest need migraine subjects to help test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment for migraines in adults.
You may qualify for participation if you:
  • Are 18 years or older.

  • Have had migraines for at least 1 year with the age of onset before 50 years old.

  • Have between 2 to 8 consistent migraine headache attacks within the past 3 months.

  • Have less than 15 days with headaches (migraine or non-migraine) per month in each of the last 3 months.
You may not qualify for participation if you:
  • Have an acute chronic pain syndrome, such as fibromyalgia.

  • Have any significant medical condition(s) that may interfere with safety and effectiveness of the investigational treatment. These medical conditions may include, but are not limited to congenital heart disease, hepatitis B or C, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), or cancer.

  • Have a history of nasal surgery within the past 6 months.

  • Have evidence at screening of significant nasal conditions that may affect the administration, or absorption of the investigational nasal product.

There are additional requirements to qualify for this study. A member of the study team will discuss these with you during screening.

What Are Migraines?

Migraines are painful and often nauseating headaches that can be accompanied by throbbing on one side of the head, vomiting, light sensitivities, and sound sensitivities. If left untreated, migraines can last anywhere from 4-72 hours.

What is a Clinical Research Study?

A clinical research study tests the safety and effectiveness of a new medicine or treatment in a population of volunteers. Every medical breakthrough goes through the clinical study process. Therefore, participants like you play a very important role in advancing medicine for present and future generations.
