Seeking COPD Patients for a Clinical Research Study
If you or someone you know are between 40 and 80 years old and are living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), consider a clinical research study for help.
Local researchers at Midwest Chest Consultants need COPD patients to help test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment for COPD in adults.
You may qualify for participation if you:
  • You are 40 to 80 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with COPD
  • Are using 1 of the following inhalers for your COPD:
    • Spiriva, Incruse, Tudorza, Serevent, or Striverdi
  • Are a current or former smoker
You may not qualify for participation if you:
  • Have a current diagnosis of asthma
  • Use oxygen more than 12 hours per day
  • Had cancer in the past 5 years
    • Exceptions to be made for squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma of the skin
There are additional requirements to qualify for this study. A member of the study team will discuss these with you during screening.
